iPhone Users Can Make Video Calls Using Fring Application
One of the major drawbacks of iPhone is lack of front camera for video calls etc. which kept developers from making such iphone applications. iPhone users have long waited for this functionality to work.
However, despite all the technical deficiencies, Fring has managed to introduce video calls functionality to the iPhone through the latest and updated version of its mobile app for the iPhone which is now available on the App Store for free.

The new version of the Fring mobile app allows the user to make video calls with any Fring user on the other end in Fring-to-Fringe mode or even with a Skype user in a Fring-to-Skype mode. The only downside is that due to the lack of a front-camera on the iPhone, the video calls are only possible in one way which means that the person on the other side of the video call won’t be able to see your face. Also, the video calls are free over WiFi and no support for 3G is available as of yet.
Apart from allowing you to make video calls, the Fring app also lets you make voice calls and connect to your favorite IM services like Yahoo!, GoogleTalk and Twitter all for free. Fring application can be downloaded at iTunes Store.
